My favorite teaching paradigm is practice-based learning, which encourages students to relate theoretical discussions to real-world problems, so as to acquire a deeper knowledge. This is rooted in my belief that everyone has an innate sense of curiosity and a passion for knowledge. Such curiosity and passion is often embodied in varied areas of interest. Thus, in my teaching, I emphasize customization by placing theoretical questions and concepts in meaningful contexts that connect to the students’ varied interests, backgrounds, and expectations. |
