a spirit in user ENGAGEMENT
My biggest goal as a social science researcher and media analyst is to optimize the communication experience between public users and other entities (e.g., organizations, companies, government, news outlets, etc), so as to strengthen the bonds between them. In most research projects, I often ask: who is our target audience, how can we best reach out to them, and what can we do to increase their engagement with the media such as commenting on, reposting, and liking a social media post? As a quantitative researcher, I often find my answers to these questions through designing and implementing research, including but not limited to analyzing publicly available social media data, surveying participants with Qualtrics questionnaires, and A/B testing. |
